Save the Rhinos

Protecting rhinos - At the heart of their work is the protection of rhinos in the wild, through funding rangers, their dogs and providing rhinos with care.

Reducing illegal trade - they are stopping people from buying horns, and gaining insights to help stop the criminals involved in the illegal trade of horn.

Engaging communities - they are supporting community-led conservation, so that people living near rhinos are inspired to protect wildlife around them

Bringing experts together - Across the world they are working with experts and sharing information, so that conservationists have the best skills possible to save rhinos.

Current Charity of the year

2021 - 2022

Currently some of our profits from our shop get donated to save the rhinos. To aid in their fantastic work.

Wildlife Aid Foundation

Wildlife Aid Foundation is a Surrey-based wildlife hospital, they treat and rehabilitate any British wildlife in need. Their aim is to return every animal that is capable of surviving in their natural environment.

Get Involved with their campaigns! Our favourite campaign is focused on the hedgehog population. They even have an Amazon Wish list! Another way to help the Wildlife Aid Foundation is by applying like Vivian to be a volunteer or applying for a job

2020 - present

Some of our team spend their free time volunteering at the center helping the animals in need.

Wild at heart Foundation

Wild at Heart Foundation aim to end the suffering of stray dogs all over the world. They believe that each and every dog deserves the chance to live a healthy, happy life, free from the threat of pain, suffering, cruelty or neglect.

There are many ways in which you can help Wild At Heart Foundation, we helped by taking on a dog for the day free of charge! We picked up the dog and looked after them (socialised) until their temporary carer was available. Browse their website to find ways in which you can help.

2019

We collected a rescue dog from the designated pick up point; where we got to meet the wonderful team who go above and beyond for the dogs.

We took the a dog for a majority of the day until their temporary foster was able to take over. It was so rewarding to see the young street dog socialising, exercising and playing whilst in our care. This little dog went on to find the best new forever home. We wish you all the best for the future little one.

RSPCA - Woking

RSPCA - Woking is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and exist to help local animals in need.

Their team is solo responsible for the fundraising, management and general affairs of running the charity and run entirely on the tireless work and dedication of our trustees and volunteers.

All dogs in their care go into foster homes, this gives dogs the skills needed the most for being happy in a forever home. The volunteer foster staff are wonderful people that treat every dog in their care as if their own. They help with basic training, manners and exercising of the dog.

In addition to this they provide limited financial assistance to those who need it the most with their veterinary bills, should they find themselves unable to pay. This allows them as an organisation to help responsible pet owners provide the care for their companions when in hardship.

2018

We have helped with fundraising, for our most resent fundraiser we did an army assault course. Wet, Cold & Tough but we all completed it and Plenty Paws raised £365.

Prior to that we raised money to help pay for a dog leg operation. The mission we chose was a mountain bike ride in the winter months. We managed to raise a WHOPPING £2051.92

We continually work closely with the RSPCA - Woking taking rescue dogs out for a walk or for the day.

RSPCA - Millbrook

Each year the RSPCA Millbrook Animal Centre finds new homes for hundreds of unwanted dogs, cats and other animals.

The RSPCA is the oldest welfare charity around, first introducing a law to protect animals and work hard to ensure that all animals can live free from pain and suffering.

Through investigations and prosecutions they stand up to those who deliberately harm animals to send out a clear message - we will not tolerate animal abuse. They have highly trained officers who tackle neglect and cruelty on every level working to stamp out animal cruelty.

They rehabilitate animals wherever possible, provide them with the very best veterinary care and seek to find them new homes, either through rehoming or release.

Then animals in their care stay in safe and comfortable kennels until they are chosen by their new lucky human.

2018

Every year we do a collection, taking any animal related items and donating them to the RSPCA - Millbrook. We donate blankets, toys, treat and food. Never forgetting the staffs hard work and showing our appreciation for all they do we also get the staff a Christmas gift of chocolates and wine.
